WHAT DO I OFFER
I trained as a humanistic psychotherapist, which means that I place you at the heart of the therapeutic process. Your experiences, values, and goals are the compass that guides our work together. I focus on my therapeutic relationship with you, as I believe that it is the quality of our therapeutic alliance that can bring about personal growth and transformation.
I have specialised in understanding and addressing process addictions, i.e. love, sex, work, eating, exercise, etc. These are compulsive behaviours that can take over our lives, often stemming from underlying traumas and anxieties. Through compassionate exploration, we uncover the self-limiting beliefs and anxieties that fuel them, and look for effective ways to pave the way for healing and growth. I use a diverse range of therapeutic techniques to meet your unique needs.
Additionally, I have a particular interest in the somatic manifestations of trauma and an understanding of how emotional experiences can be expressed and held within the body. Where appropriate, I can incorporate body awareness and other supportive techniques into the therapeutic process.
I offer both short-term counselling and longer-term, open-ended psychotherapy, tailored to your individual needs. Sessions are available online or in person. If you prefer face-to-face therapy, I work from two clinic locations: one in central London and one in north London.
